Completion of Work at the Third Floor of the Provincial Ayurveda Hospital, Anuradhapura
- Anuradhapura Provincial Ayurveda Hospital is the largest Ayurveda Hospital in the North Central Province. The work in two floors of the building where there are paying wards have already been completed. Presently, great interest is shown, by the people for receiving Ayurveda treatment and therefore, an increasing demand has been generated for the 08 paying rooms available in addition to the non paying wards at the hospital, among both the local and foreign patients. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Rajitha Senaratne, the Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine, to complete the construction work of the third floor paying ward complex of the Anuradhapura Ayurveda Hospital which has been designed to house 10 rooms, at an estimated cost of Rs.30 million, was approved by the Cabinet.
