Providing Relief to construct new houses for those completely damaged due to the landslides that occurred in Hali-Ela and Badulla Divisional Secretariat Divisions

- In the year 2014, 24 houses have been completely damaged, due to the landslides that occurred in Rilpola including other areas in the Divisional Secretary's Divisions of Hali Ela and Badulla. As such, the proposal made by Hon. Anura Priyadharshana Yapa, the Minister of Disaster Management, for granting a payment of Rs.1,250,000/- for each family, for reconstructing their house and to release provision amounting to Rs.30 million for the purpose, was approved by the Cabinet.
