Construction of a Radial & Solid Tyre Plant in Sri Lanka

- The proposal made by Hon. Malik Samarawickrama, the Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade, to provide necessary facilities through the Board of Investment, to an investor who has come forward to establish a Radial & Solid Tyre Manufacturing Plant in Horana area deploying a capital investment of US$ 75 million within 4 years, aiming 60% of the total production at export market and generating more than 1,000 local job opportunities, was approved by the Cabinet.
