Construction of a Warehouse Complex at Kilinochchi

- With a view to providing high quality storage facilities for the farmers of the Kilinochchi district to store their agricultural produce, the proposal made by Hon. Ravi Karunanayake, the Minister of Finance, to award the contract for the construction of a Warehouse Complex of 32,000 sq ft, in the district, consisting of an office building with a research laboratory, a building with accommodation facilities, a water sump and a transformer cabin etc., in accordance with the recommendation of the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
