Award of Contracts for Buildings to be Constructed at the Universities

- With a view to developing infrastructure facilities required by the student population studying in the Universities of Kelaniya, Eastern, Ruhuna and the Bhiksu University, to obtain a more quality education, the proposal made by Hon. Lakshman Kiriella, the Minister of Higher Education and Highways, to award the contracts for the buildings to be constructed at the above Universities, in accordance with the recommendation of the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
