Agreement to be entered into between Sri Lanka and the Philippines on the Waiver of Visa Requirements for Holders of Diplomatic and Official Passports

- With a view to improving the bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and the Philippines, while facilitating the travel of parties' nationals who are on official mission for their respective Governments, the proposal made by Hon. S.B. Navinne, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wayamba Development and Cultural Affairs, to sign the Agreement to be entered into between the Government of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Government of the Republic of the Philippines, to exempt the nationals of either Party who are holders of valid diplomatic and official passports, from the obligation to obtain visas for entry, stay and travel across the territory of the other party, for a period that does not exceed 30 days, was approved by the Cabinet.
