Scientific and Technological Cooperation in High Energy Physics

- The proposal made by Hon. Susil Premajayantha, the Minister of Science, Technology and Research, to sign an Expression of Interest (EoI) with the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), for the Scientific and Technological Cooperation in High Energy Physics, expressing agreement to support research projects implemented with CERN by the Universities and other Research Institutes of Sri Lanka, and also providing an opportunity to Sri Lankan Scientists, Engineers and Technicians to work in the said organization as its Associate Members, was approved by the Cabinet.
