Conducting a Workshop on ‘Water Re-use/Alternative Water Supply’ in Sri Lanka

- The proposal made by Hon. Rauff Hakeem, the Minister of City Planning and Water Supply, to hold a Workshop on "Water Re-use and Alternative Water Supply", in Colombo, from 1st to 3rd November, 2016, organized in collaboration with the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA), with a view to provinding an overview on both theoretical and practical aspects of water re-use and desalination, membrane technology, advanced oxidation processes and natural treatment systems, was approved by the Cabinet.
