Construction of a National College of Education for the Students who follow the Technology Subject Stream

- The Technology Stream is already being taught in the school system. However, a College of Education for Technology, at national level, has not yet been established to train teachers for the said stream. Therefore, the proposal made by Hon. Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, the Minister of Education, to establish the National College of Education for Technology, in Kuliyapitiya, utilizing the financial aid of Rs.1,911 million to be provided by the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), was approved by the Cabinet.
