The Agreement between Sri Lanka and Finland for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion of Taxes on Income

- The proposal made by Hon. Ravi Karunanayake, the Minister of Finance, to sign at State Level, the Agreement to be entered into between the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Republic of Finland, for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion of taxes on income with a view to improving economic relations and enhancing cooperation between Sri Lanka and Finland, and to move a resolution in Parliament to that effect, in terms of Section 97 (1) (a) of the Inland Revenue Act, No.10 of 2006, was approved by the Cabinet.
