Prevention of the difficulties caused to the general public due to stray dogs

- The proposal made by Hon. Faiszer Musthapha, the Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government, for the implementation of the Action Plan containing the recommendations focusing on the areas of controlling the dog population, efficient conducting of dog vaccination programmes, establishing dog care centres and creating proper coordination in this regard between the Local Government Authorities and other institutions, submitted by the Officials' Committee appointed by the Cabinet to formulate a suitable mechanism to prevent the difficulties caused to the general public due to the stray dogs, was approved by the Cabinet.
