Implementation of Short Term Priority Water Supply improvements for 3 BOI Zones and surroundings in Ranpokunugama, Kirindiwela and Biyagama areas of Gampaha District and Koggala area of Galle District

- The proposal made by Hon. Rauff Hakeem, the Minister of City Planning and Water Supply, to carry out the necessary improvements to the existing water supply schemes in the relevant areas, treating them as national priority projects, at an estimated cost of Rs.1,531.9 million, to ensure an adequate supply of drinking water to the people living in the BOI Zone of Biyagama, Wathupitiwala and Koggala and suburbs in the Biyagama area and the areas of Ranpokunagama, Kirindiwela and Habaraduwa, was approved in principle by the Cabinet.
