Construction of Quarters for the Married Special Task Force (STF) Officers

- The provision of housing facilities for married officers engaged in security activities such as maintaining law and order in the City of Colombo and suburbs, controlling riots and commotions that arise on various occasions, and providing quick relief in disaster situations has become an urgent need and accordingly, in order to provide housing facilities for the said officers, the proposal made by Hon. Sagala Ratnayaka, the Minister of Law & Order and Southern Development, to construct a housing complex, at an estimated cost of Rs.388 million, utilizing the space and facilities available at the Kalapaluwawa Camp of the Special Task Force (STF), was approved by the Cabinet.
