Supply of Uniform and other Clothing Material for the Sri Lanka Army, Navy, Air Force and Civil Security Force for the Year 2016

- The textile requirements of the three forces and the other institutions under the Ministry of Defence have been met by local textile manufactures since the year 2005 and the relevant activities are carried out by the Domestic Textile Allocation Committee (DTAC) established under the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. Accordingly, the proposal made by H. E. the President, Hon. Maithripala Sirisena, in his capacity as the Minister of Defence, for the purchase of uniform material and other textile requirements of the Sri Lanka Army, the Sri Lanka Navy, the Sri Lanka Air Force and the Civil Security Force for the year 2016, from the relevant local textile manufactures, as recommended by the Domestic Textile Allocation Committee (DTAC), was approved by the Cabinet.
