Obtaining Fishnet Products required for distribution among the fishermen from the Northsea Ltd.

- The joint proposal made by Hon. D.M. Swaminathan, the Minister of Prison Reforms, Rehabilitation, Resettlement and Hindu Religious Affairs and Hon. Mahinda Amaraweera, the Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development, to purchase from North-Sea Ltd., a 100% State owned Company, the fishing nets required annually by the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources for subsidy distribution among fishermen, was approved by the Cabinet.
