Obtaining Development Proposals for enhancement and upgrading of the Institute of Engineering Technology at Katunayake

- The Cabinet has already granted its approval for the project on upgrading the Institute of Engineering Technology at Katunayake and accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Mahinda Samarasinghe, the Minister of Skills Development and Vocational Training, to obtain development proposals from the institution recommended by the Government of Austria which provides funds for the purpose, as the suitable supplier for the implementation of the project, to appoint a Technical Evaluation Committee (TEC) and a Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (CAPC) to evaluate said development proposals and to implement this project within a maximum cost of Euro 9.5 million, was approved by the Cabinet.
