Holding of the Second Global Health Consultation on Migration Health from 25th to 28th October 2016, in Sri Lanka

- H.E the President Maithripala Sirisena, recognizing the importance of conducting a global consultation on Migration Health for the second time, has proposed to conduct the second session on Migration Health, in Sri Lanka, with the objective of emphasizing the important common issues in protection of Migration Health that should be addressed by the global community. Accordingly, the proposal made by (Dr.) Rajitha Senaratne, the Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine, to conduct the Second Global Health Consultation on Migration Health from 25th to 28th October 2016, in Sri Lanka, with the participation of about 40 countries, was approved by the Cabinet.
