Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka and the Surbana Jurong, Singapore to establish a Consultancy Company

- Rightly assessing the investment potentials of Sri Lanka, the Government has recognized the acute need of attracting top tier investors to make Sri Lanka an attractive destination. It has been identified that it is appropriate to establish a Government owned Consultancy Firm to leverage the maximum benefits to the Government of Sri Lanka. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Malik Samarawickrama, the Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka and the Surbana Jurong of Singapore which is a world renowned urban redevelopment consultancy firm that provides widespread area of services such as Urban Planning & Design, Development Management, Architecture, Cost & Contracts Management, Project Management, Facilities Management etc., was approved by the Cabinet.
