Sri Lanka Sustainable Development Act

- The proposal made by the Prime Minister, Hon. Ranil Wickremasinghe, in his capacity as the Minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs, to publish the Sri Lanka Sustainable Development Bill prepared for the implementation and promotion of the National Policy and strategy on sustainable development in Sri Lanka, the establishment of a Sustainable Development Council and to provide for matters connected therewith, in the Government Gazette and to present the same in Parliament for approval, after fulling the relevant other requirements thereto, was approved by the Cabinet.
