Recommencement of the Construction Activities of Walasmulla Sathi Pola

- The construction work of Walasmulla Sathi Pola, has been completed up to the foundation level and it has been temporarily halted due to non-availability of funds for the project. Therefore, the proposal made by Hon. Patali Champika Ranawaka, the Minister of Megapolis and Western Development, to continue the remaining construction activities of the project, with the assistance of the Construction Unit of Sri Lanka Army, who conducted the preliminary construction activities of the project, subject to an estimated cost of Rs.50 million, was approved by the Cabinet.
