Amendment of the Sri Lanka Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka Act

- Identifying the challenges and the limits faced by the Sri Lanka Buddhist and Pali University and also with a view to safeguarding the future safety of the University, the proposal made by Hon. Lakshman Kiriella, the Minister of Higher Education and Highways, to amend the the Sri Lanka Buddhist and Pali University Act, No. 37 of 1995, to suit the present global trends, without any prejudice to the objectives of the Act and also to achieve them in a more realistic manner, was approved by the Cabinet.
