Extradition Treaty between Sri Lanka and Ukraine

- The proposal made by H.E the President Maithripala Sirisena, in his capacity as the Minister of Defence, with the objective of strengthening the cooperation between the two countries on extradition of criminals back to their motherlands, was approved by the Cabinet. This would provide Sri Lanka with the opportunity of requesting the authorities of Ukrain, to transfer the persons who have engaged in illegal acts in the country and sought refuge in Ukraine.
