Revision of Salaries of the Employees of the Government Corporations, Statutory Boards and Fully Government Owned Companies - 2016

- The Public Administration Circular No.03/2016 of 2016-02-25 was issued in accordance with the decision taken by the Government to add the special allowances and the interim allowance of Rs 10,000/- granted for the public servants in addition to their basic salaries, to their basic salaries, in stages and accordingly, the salaries of the public sector employees have already been revised. Therefore, the proposal made by Hon. Ravi Karunanayake, the Minister of Finance, to issue circular instructions, to revise the basic salaries of the employees of Government Corporations, Statutory Boards and Fully Government Owned Companies, in accordance with the recommendations of the National Salaries and Cadre Commission, was approved by the Cabinet.
