Construction of a building with accommodation facilities for Commissioned Officers at the Special Task Force (STF) Camp in Mahaoya

- The Cabinet of Ministers, according to a proposal made by Hon. Sagala Ratnayake, the Minister of Law & Order and Southern Development, decided to construct a new building, instead of the old building which is 40 years old, to provide accommodation facilities for the Commissioned Officers and the Special Task Force officers who attend the Police Special Task Force Camp at Mahaoya in the Ampara District for duties and as well as service matters, at an estimated cost of Rs.24.6 million and to provide the provisions required for the purpose in the medium term budgetary framework of 2017-2019.
