Completion of State of the Art Ward Complex in the Cancer Institute of Maharagama (Rasavi Project)

- The construction of a Ward Complex at the Cancer Institute of Maharagama has been commenced with the financial contribution of the Ahamed Tea Company of the United Kingdom and the Government of Sri Lanka and the proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Rajitha Senaratne, the Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine, to complete the construction work of the Ward Complex expeditiously through further enhancing the contribution for the purpose by the Government of Sri Lanka, was approved by the Cabinet.
