Allocation of a Land in extent of 100 acres from the Embilipitiya area to be used as a Cattle Sanctuary

- The proposal made by H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena, in his capacity as the Minister of Mahaweli Development and Environment, to lease a land in extent of 100 acres out of the 200 acres reserved for a grassland at present, situated in Kowulara village in the Divisional Secretariat Division of Sevanagala, Monaragala District, to the Sri Bodhiraja Trust of Sri Bodhiraja Dharmayathanaya, Embilipitiya incorporated by the Sri Bodhiraja Trust Act, No.30 of 1993, for 30 years, on a nominal lease, for the purpose of conducting a Cattle Sanctuary, was approved by the Cabinet.
