Ratification of the Agreement on concurrence for obtaining the membership of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) by Sri Lanka

- Sri Lanka became a party to the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) on 29th January 2015, by placing her signature to the Articles of Agreement of the said Bank. The proposal made by Hon. Ravi Karunanayake, the Minister of Finance to publish the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank Agreement (Ratification) Bill prepared to ratify the said Agreement and enforce the same within Sri Lanka, in the Government Gazette and present the same in Parliament for approval, was approved by the Cabinet.
