Establishment of the National Research Council as a Statutory Entity

- The proposal made by Hon. Susil Premajayantha, the Minister of Science, Technology and Research, to publish the Bill drafted for the establishment of the National Research Council as a statutory entity to provide for a Science and Technology research culture in Sri Lanka with a view to creating an interest in same among the General Public, in the Government Gazette and present it to Parliament for approval, was approved by the Cabinet.
