Revision of Agrahara Benefits received to Government Servants and their families through National Insurance Trust Fund (NITF)

- Considering the daily increasing expenditure for medical treatments, the Proposal made by the Prime Minister, Hon. Ranil Wickremasinghe, in his capacity as the Minister of National Policies and Economic affairs, to implement the 'Agrahara Insurance Scheme', also to be inclusive of the retired Government servants, so as to receive more flexible and higher benefits, according to the recommendations of the Cabinet appointed Officials' Committee made regarding the extension of the health security benefits, offered to the Government Servants and their families through Agrahara Insurance Scheme, governed by the National Insurance Trust Fund, was approved by the Cabinet.
