Provision of Training Opportunities of the Defence Service Command and Staff College for Foreign Officers

- The Defence Services Command and Staff College established in the year 2007 is the highest Military Training Institution in the Island. Since 2009, opportunities for these training courses have been provided to other countries as well, as a mark of cordiality. Considering the goodwill, foreign exchange and the exchange of knowledge and experiences Sri Lanka will gain, the proposal made by H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena in his capacity as the Minister of Defence, to provide 10 training opportunities on payment basis and 22 training opportunities on Gratis Basis to foreign officers, was approved by the Cabinet.
