Stator Replacement - Victoria Power Station

- Three Generators are being operated at the Victoria Power Station and such machines have been in use for over 30 years. The technical experts in the field have recommended that the said machines have to be repaired without delay, if further efficient service is to be obtained from these machines. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, the Minister of Power and Renewable Energy, to award the Tender for the replacement of the Stator of Unit 3 Machine of Victoria Power Station, to the bidder recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
