Allocation of at least 25% of the provisions for women, from the Projects implemented for Rural Economic Development

- As per the recommendation of the Cabinet Sub-Committee appointed to study the proposal submitted previously for the use of at least 25% of the provisions earned by the projects implemented for the development of the rural economy, for women, the proposal made by Hon. (Mrs.) K.D.M. Chandrani Bandara, the Minister of Women and Child Affairs, to use at least a minimum of 25% of investments made for the identified rural development projects implemented by the various Ministries, in the interest of women, was approved by the Cabinet.
