National Expressway Authority Bill

- The proposal made by Hon. Lakshman Kiriella, the Minister of Higher Education and Highways, to publish the National Expressway Authority Bill drafted to provide for the establishment of National Expressway Authority for the construction, management, development and maintenance of expressways in Sri Lanka, to ensure a safe, efficient and an environmental friendly movement of vehicles on the expressways, and to entrust the powers and functions connected thereto, in the Gazette and thereafter to present same in Parliament for approval, was approved by the Cabinet.
