Establishment of an Advance Passenger Information Processing (APIP) and Passenger Name Record (PNR) System

- The proposal made by Hon. Harin Fernando, the Minister of Telecommunication and Digital Infrastructure, to establish an Advance Passenger Information Processing (APIP) and Passenger Name Record (PNR) System at the Department of Immigration and Emigration, in association with the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) and Socie'te' Internationale de Te'le' communications Ae'ronautiques (SITA) as stakeholders, was approved by the Cabinet.
