Allocation of land blocks from Regional Industrial Estates to set up industries

- The Regional Industrial Estates Development Programme is implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce with the objective of promoting industries at regional level. The proposal made by Hon. Rishad Bathiudeen, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, to allocate plots of land from the respective Industrial Estates, to the appropriate investors/companies who possessed the required qualifications, under this programme, as per the recommendation of the Ministerial Project Evaluation Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
