Partnership Arrangement for the Sri Lankan Dairy Excellence Training Initiative

- The above Agreement prepared with a view to upgrading the quality and capacity of the dairy extension services provided to the farmers by the Department of Animal Production and Health, to increase the manufacturing productivity of local dairy farms, is to be signed between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Government of New Zealand and the Ministries of Finance and Rural Economy of Sri Lanka. The activities under this Arrangement are proposed to be implemented within a period of three years with a financial grant of New Zealand dollars 2.5 million. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. P. Harrison, the Minister of Rural Economy, to sign the above Agreement, was approved by the Cabinet.
