Gampaha, Attanagalla and Minuwangoda Integrated Water Supply Scheme

-*The objective of this project is to provide safe and reliable drinking water to the areas of Gampaha, Attanagalla and Minuwangoda Divisional Secretariat Divisions and a part of the Mirigama Divisional Secretariat Division. This project would provide drinking water facilities for a population of about 300,000 and enhance the service level of the drinking water facilities already provided for a population of 100,000. Therefore, the proposal made by Hon. Ravi Karunanayake, the Minister of Finance, to obtain funds from the China Development Bank for the implementation of this project, covering 85% of its total cost and enter into the relevant agreement, was approved by the Cabinet.
