The draft Bill to amend the Criminal Procedure Code Act

- At present, the accumulation of the Court productions largely in the Court premises has become a serious issue. Therefore, in order to provide for the disposal of relevant court productions prior to finalization of cases, the proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Wijayadasa Rajapaksa, the Minister of Justice, to publish the Bill prepared to amend the Sections 431 and 432 of the Criminal Procedure Code and present same in Parliament for approval, was approved by the Cabinet.
