Asian Development Bank funded integrated road investment Program - Obtaining approval to award the contracts for the two rural road civil works - contract packages in the Sabaragamuwa Province

- The above road development programme operates with the funds provided by the Asian Development Bank; and selected roads in the Provinces of Southern, Sabaragamuwa, Western, Central, Wayamba and North Central, are developed under this programme. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Lakshman Kiriella, the Minister of Higher Education and Highways, to award the contracts for the rehabilitation of 143km of the rural roads in the Kegalle District of the Sabaragamuwa Province, in accordance with the recommendation of the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
