Construction of a New Building for the Residential Project Manager's Office of Kirindi Oya Major Irrigation

- Due to the acquisition of the land where the Residential Project Management Office of the Kirindi Oya major irrigation situated, for the construction of the Lunugamvehera bus stand, the said office has to be relocated in another place in that area. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Vijith Vijayamuni Zoysa, the Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources Management, to construct the said office in a plot of land in extent of 80 perches, released from a land belonging to the National Livestock Development Board and to award the contract for the construction of that office to the State Engineering Corporation functions under the Ministry of Housing and Construction, was approved by the Cabinet.
