Award of Contract for upgrading Tissamaharama Water Supply Scheme

- The Cabinet granted approval on 2015-11-18 to upgrade the Tissamaharama Water Supply Scheme, at a cost of Rs.393 million, on a proposal made by Hon. Sajith Premadasa, the Minister of Housing and Construction. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Rauff Hakeem, the Minister of City Planning and Water Supply, for the National Water Supply and Drainage Board to undertake the construction work comes under its purview under the said project and to handover the other construction work to the State Development and Construction Corporation, was approved by the Cabinet.
