Supply, Installation & Commissioning of Air Traffic Management System at Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake

- The Air Traffic Management System presently being used at the Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayaka is utilized for the controlling of the air traffic in the high traffic density air space around the Airport. In order to assure safe air traffic controlling around the Airport which suits the present day needs, the proposal made by Hon. Nimal Siripala de Silva, the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, for the supply, installation and commissioning of an Air Traffic Management System, at an estimated cost of Rs.320 million, was approved by the Cabinet.
