Emoluments and other allowances paid to the Chairpersons and Members of Commissions

- In order to provide the Chairpersons and Members of the Commissions established under the 19th Amendment to the Constitution with adequate emoluments and other allowances, enabling them to discharge functions of such Commissions on full time basis, the proposal made by the Prime Minister, Hon. Ranil Wickremasinghe, to revise the emoluments presently paid to them, was approved by the Cabinet.
