Obtaining Recommendations for the export of Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metal Scrap and Ingots

- Considering the difficulties, with regard to the scarcity of raw material, faced by the local industrialists who conduct their small and medium scale industries with the use of ferrous and non-ferrous metal as raw materials, the Cabinet decided as a solution to appoint a Cabinet Sub-Committee comprising of the concerned Ministers, to recommend an appropriate methodology to enable the said industrialists to easily obtain ferrous and non-ferrous metal scrap and ingots discarded by the government departments, corporations, statutory boards, and other institutions.
