New Housing and Housing Improvement Programme for 1,000 Displaced Families in Welioya

- The proposal made by Hon. Sajith Premadasa, the Minister of Housing and Construction, to construct 500 new houses and also to improve 500 houses already constructed, for the benefit of people of the Welioya Divisional Secretariat Division in the Mullaitivu District, affected by the terrorist attacks and as well as by the threats of severe droughts and floods, for over three decades, was approved by the Cabinet.
