Preparation of Western Region Megapolis Master Plan

- The preliminary works such as collection of data, preparation of preliminary plans and the drafting of legislation, pertaining to the preparation of the Western Region Megapolis Master Plan have been completed by now and the proposal made by Hon. Patali Champika Ranawaka, the Minister of Megapolis and Western Development, to obtain the service of the local and foreign experts who provide consultancy for the project, for a further period of four (04) months, in order to further proceed with the project, was approved by the Cabinet.
