To provide a Nutritional Food Package worth of Rs. 20,000/- with the Pregnant Mothers

- The programme on provision of a Nutritional Food Package worth of Rs. 20,000/- to the Pregnant Mothers was commenced under the 100 Day Programme of the Government and by now, the programme is in progress successfully. Having considered the proposal made by Hon. (Mrs) Chadrani Bandara, the Minister of Women and Child Affairs, the Cabinet approved the provision of further Rs.1,500 million to the Ministry, in addition to the Rs.1,500 million already allocated for year 2015, for the continuous implementation of this project.
