-Due to the inadequate space available in the present building, where the Attorney General's Department is housed, the construction work has been commenced to construct a seven storeyed new building for the Department, in the premises of the Superior Court Complex. The proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Wijayadasa Rajapaksa, the Minister of Justice, to award the contract for the pilling work of the building, as recommended by the Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
