- The contractor had agreed to offer a lump sum discount of Rs.21 million, at the negotiation conducted between the relevant contractor and the Review Committee appointed by the Ministry, to review the contract sum of the above project that has been already awarded. The approval of the Cabinet Sub?Committee on Economic Affairs has also been received for this project and as such, the proposal made by Hon. Rauff Hakeem, the Minister of Urban Development, Water Supply and Drainage, to proceed with the activities of the project, was approved by the Cabinet.
