Construction of Houses for the resettlement of the families displaced due to the landslide disaster in Koslanda, Meeriyabedda area on 29?10?2014 - Due to above disaster, 34 individuals of the Meeriyabedda Village in Koslanda have died and 330 individuals of 57 families were victimized. Hon. A.H.M. Fowzie, the Minister of Disaster Management informed the Cabinet that the action has been taken to complete the construction activities of the houses by the 15th of October 2015, in accordance with the instructions given by H.E. the President, to accelerate the construction of houses for those displaced. |
